Plots With Guns, Fall 99

We've just posted the latest issue of Plots With Guns, an internet crime writing journal, at http://www2.netdoor.com/~ansmith

This issue, fiction from L.C. Mohr, Art Montague, Russ Miller, and Elisabeth Clark. Plus, 3 stories held over from the summer issue, including a Charlie the Hook story from Victor Gischler, whose work is forthcoming in Best American Mystery Stories 1999.

We're always looking for new hardboiled crime fiction and poetry (there is too such a thing), as long as there's a gun in it. Our submission guidelines are available on the site.

Drop by, give it a spin.

Murder Mystery Weekends

My wife and I own a Bed & Breakfast in Southern Vermont. We are about 4 hours northeast of the New York City metropolitan area. We host Murder Mystery weekends throughout the year for individuals as well as for corporate and private groups. We have been doing them for about a year now and have found them to be a wonderful way to bring in guests. The people who attend are uniquely curious, highly educated and very open to leaving the "real" world behind for a weekend of fun, laughs and, of course, murder.

Deadly Alibi Press is publishing a collection of my Amelia Watson stories, soon to be available (Christmastime or thereabouts).  Most of the stories have appeared in the pages of MIMM, some in a slightly different form, though there is one original tale in the collection, and for those who know Amelia, its revelations might be shockers!
