Comment BelowLandscape • Path • Media: PhotographThis was one of those days when I re-learned one of the basic tenants of photography, the value and importance of light. The sun was setting very low in the west and the orange hues it was sending across everything were quite amazing. I’m glad I caught some of that color here along with one of my favorite themes, the Path. This photo also gives a good sense of the height of the grass along both sides of the trail. Moving forward into the dark of the trees along this track one feels as if protection, or foreboding, lies ahead.
