The birds are definitely out and about lately. I’m not sure if the bird houses in this picture are occupied but they seem safe and secluded. If I were a bird then I would know for sure or might know also why they aren’t safe. I’ll have to see later in the season if they are indeed occupied. There is a nice expanse of tall grass here in this field that seemed to complement well the expanse of the clouded sky above. I’m not sure if the tufted yellow grass is caused by rocks underneath, taller clumps of grass, or something else. I didn’t want to disturb them to find out. I didn’t manage to catch the full, rich colors that I wanted from this photo but decided not to enhance it digitally.
