Seer's Eye Journal
Beach Grass and WavesSeascape (Photograph)I thought it was interesting how this lone stalk of a plant had managed to grow up out of the surrounding plants as if to say “I’m here!”. Of course it’s colder, windier, and also sunnier for this plant now that it is out in the open but, hey, it’s a plant. It’s not like it can up and move someplace else. About all it can do is continue growing taller and stronger. The sun, the cold, the wind won’t go away. This plant knows what many in life come to realize—make the most of what you’ve got because sometimes it’s all you have.
