A web site with “interactive” features consisting of seven initial web pages including an update-able blog, online photo/image gallery, membership/commenting system, and a mailing list as well as other features.

Included

We use the Expression Engine software package to enable things such as a blog (your online journal, newsletter, etc.), online personal photo gallery, a membership/commenting system, an RSS news feed, and a mailing list as well as other features. The Expression Engine software license and one year of support is included in our price along with visual design of the site to your preference. We also provide basic instruction on how to use the system once installed on your web server.

NOT Included

Cost of initial hosting setup and monthly web site hosting. Cost of initial domain name registration and recurring domain name registration. Cost of adding PHP and MySQL to your hosting account if not already included.

Requirements

If your current Hosting company does not support the requirements below then additional costs may be incurred if moving to another Hosting Account or if adding features to your existing account. We have a simple test file that can be used to determine if your web hosting account is adequately setup for this software.

We will need access to your web site hosting account in order to upload the finished web site and install the Expression Engine software or to test the server for compatibility.

The following specific requirements are necessary on your web server (your hosting account):
• At least 10 MB of space.
• PHP version 4.1 or newer.
• MySQL version 3.23.32 or newer.
• PHP must have XML support.
• Your server must have the following MySQL grant privileges (for tables): CREATE, ALTER, DROP.
• Your MySQL server must not be running in Strict mode.
• To take advantage of the image thumb-nailing feature your server must support one of the three image manipulation protocols: GD, ImageMagick, NetPBM.
