Beetle Tending Garden

A beetle and white flowers.

I watched this insect move across these flowers like it was a gardener tending a miniature garden. I’m not sure what type of beetle this is but it seemed to be quite agile and quick compared to some beetles I’ve seen. I also don’t know if it was looking for pollen or other, smaller insects to dine on. The grey-brown color of this beetle is also what first attracted my eye as I’ve not seen many of this color.
