It’s cool, rainy, and dreary here in Michigan today so this interior picture of the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute in Hastings, Michigan seemed appropriate. This building is warm and inviting even in the dead of Winter. They have an extensive collection of clocks at the Institute that were collected by the founders. You can see some of them on the walls in the picture and more are on other shelves around the building. The building is also constructed with an earth berm against the northern side as well as having many other energy efficient design features. It is well worth a trip, and a membership, to visit the Institute. | |
